The project mainly constructs a wild astragalus planting base with a total scale of 52,000 mu, and a supporting astragalus primary processing base and astragalus feed base of 6,000 square meters, forming an astragalus industry closed loop of wild astragalus planting, harvesting, primary processing, feed processing and sales of all products. The wild astragalus base plants high-grade Mongolian wild astragalus by broadcasting. Some astragalus slopes are combined with wild cultivation technology. Intelligent detection hardware equipment is deployed in the wild astragalus base to realize the full digital control of wild medicinal materials. The growth environment of wild astragalus maintains the original wild environment, with a variety of plants coexisting, without destroying its inherent food chain, with little human intervention, no growth hormone, and no harmful fertilizers and pesticides. Guangling County will be built into the country's largest wild astragalus digital ecological industry base.
The project has built a Chinese herbal medicine research and study base: based on the 52,000-acre wild astragalus base, a variety of wild medicinal materials are interplanted as a wild medicinal material research and study base, and a 10,000-square-meter teaching base is built, including classrooms, laboratories, conference rooms, libraries, dormitories and supporting equipment and facilities. The wild medicinal materials interplanted and planted in the research and study base include: Bupleurum chinense, Scutellaria baicalensis, Atractylodes lancea, Gentiana macrophylla, Rhubarb, Taraxacum officinale, Chrysanthemum officinale, Fish-sinca, Coltsfoot flower, Atractylodes macrocephala, Cimicifuga heracleifolia, Artemisia capillaris, Angelica dahurica, Polyporus umbellatus, Rehmannia glutinosa, Asparagus cochinchinensis, Gastrodia elata, Crataegus pinnatifida, Peach kernel, Ephedra sinica, Licorice and more than 50 other authentic Chinese herbal medicines. Focus on the development of industrial projects such as Chinese medicine popularization, research and study, and education. In conjunction with the Institute of Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Baiyangqi Mountain" was registered in the National Geographic, setting a precedent for naming a mountain after Chinese medicinal materials and creating a new landmark Astragalus medicine mountain in Shanxi Province.
